Pekiti Tirsia Kali is an indigenous Filipino fighting system which means to "cut in small pieces, up close". It was officially founded in 1897 by the late Grandmaster Conrado B. Tortal and was then passed down to his grandson Grandmaster Leo Tortal Gaje Jr.
Training in Pekiti Tirsia Kali includes the use of blade, impact weapon, empty hand (pangamut) and Filipino wrestling (dumog).
Today, Pekiti Tirsia Kali is being taught to the Philippine law enforcement (PNP) and the military (Marine Force Recon) by Mandala Maginoo Rommel Tortal, nephew of Grand Tuhon.
Pekiti Tirsia is widely spread with dedicated practitioners residing world wide.
